Pet Home Visit &/or Pet Minding/House Sitting

I.Liability Policies

Go-To Pet Minding agrees to provide the stated services in a reliable and trustworthy manner. 
Go-To Pet Minding cannot be responsible for any complications pets may suffer or actions of pets whilst unattended. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives any and all claims against Go-To Pet Minding unless arising from gross negligence on the part of Go-To Pet Minding. Client agrees to notify Go-To Pet Minding of any concerns within 24 hours of returning home. 
Go-To Pet Minding cannot be responsible for pets that bite, suffer an accidental death or escape from faulty fencing or from inside the home due to faulty screens, doors, etc. 
Go-To Pet Minding shall not be held responsible for the loss, injury, death, or actions of any pet that the client has let outside or has instructed Go-To Pet Minding to allow outside while sitter is not there. This includes pets with doggie doors and outdoor pets. 
The client understands that all pets (where appropriate) must have a veterinarian and must be up to date on all vaccinations. 
Go-To Pet Minding will not sit for acutely ill animals or those with uncontrolled medical conditions. We suggest the pet be boarded with a vet. 
Go-To Pet Minding does not accept aggressive animals. Client agrees to be responsible for all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care, solicitor fees, etc.) if client’s pet should bite another person or animal. 
Go-To Pet Minding will not walk unruly or untrained dogs or dogs that choke themselves on their leash. All pets must be walked on a leash, no exceptions. 
Go-To Pet Minding does not diagnose, prognose, or make therapy decisions, nor does it offer veterinary services. Any veterinary/medical concerns will be referred to a veterinarian of the owners’ choice. 
Client authorizes Go-To Pet Minding to obtain the services of a locksmith should a key/garage opener malfunction. Client is responsible for all charges. 
Job sharing is not covered under our insurance. We cannot be responsible for your pet or home if another service provider enters your property while we are not there. 
Go-To Pet Minding cannot be held responsible for any damage cost to lawn, plants, or any outside furniture. 
Go-To Pet Minding will not be responsible for the death or damage of any indoor or outdoor plants for any reason. 
Go-To Pet Minding will not be responsible for the loss of any rubbish or recycle receptacles due to wind or any act of nature or theft. 
Go-To Pet Minding will not be responsible for any damage (inside or out) due to any act of nature. 

 

II.Cancellation and Refund Policy

 Any Bookings cancelled within: 
• Less than 48 hours notice from commencement start date will have money forfeited for first two days of booking. Credit* or refund for remaining days. 
• 48 hours or more notice from start date. Credit* or refund given less $25 admin fee. 
*Credits are redeemable within 6 months on any Services. Go-To Pet Minding can deny or terminate services due to safety concerns, financial concerns or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.

III.Emergencies

Client agrees to authorize Go-To Pet Minding to handle any emergencies that may arise. Go-To Pet Minding will make every effort to contact client, however client gives Go-To Pet Minding authority to act in the pet’s/home’s best interest and be available at an hourly rate of $22.

Go-To Pet Minding requires you to have a responsible party to take care of your pet(s) in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as illness and in the event of inclement weather or a natural disaster. It is best your emergency contact is a neighbor so they can reach your home. Go-To Pet Minding is not responsible for pets in these circumstances.

 

IV.Bookings

Bookings need to be made early to avoid disappointment and no later than 14 days before commencement of service date. The full amount of the booking is to be paid a week prior to booking. Only once full payment has been received by Go-To Pet Minding and a confirmation has been received by client, is the booking confirmed. In the event of additional unforeseen visits/days and/or other costs (such as food, supplies, or vet fees), these unforeseen expenses are expected to be compensated in full within one month of the completion of services or a late charge of $15 will be applied. All bookings that require travel outside of the standard radius of 25km will be subjected to a fee of 0.80c/km over 24km. 

V.Food Supplies

Go-To Pet Minding will not be responsible for your pets food supply during the time you are away. All food should be supplied prior, or some funds should be left to buy more food for your pets.

VI.Medications

Go-To Pet Minding will administer medications to pets who are ill or who require regular medications once a prescription and medical history has been sighted.

 

Dog Walking Conditions

1)  Liability Policy

Go-To Pet Minding agree to provide services stated in this contract in a reliable and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives any and all claims against Go-To Pet Minding, unless arising from gross negligence on the part of Go-To Pet Minding. 
Go-To Pet Minding cannot be held responsible for pets that cause damage to furniture, carpet, flooring/woodwork, walls, etc. while walker is not present. 
Go-to Pet Minding cannot be responsible for pets that bite, suffer an accidental death or escape from faulty fencing or from inside the home due to faulty screens, doors, etc. 
Go-To Pet Minding cannot be responsible for any complications pets may suffer or actions of pets while they are unattended. 
Go-To Pet Minding shall not be held responsible for the loss, injury, death, or actions of any pet that the client has let outside or has instructed the walker to allow outside while walker is not present. This includes pets with doggie doors and outdoor pets. 
The client understands that all pets (where appropriate) must have a veterinarian and must be up to date on all their vaccinations. Client agrees to reimburse Go-To Pet Minding for all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care and lost wages) associated with contracting any ailments while exposed to pet(s). 
Go-To Pet Minding does not accept aggressive animals. Client agrees to be responsible for all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care, solicitor fees, etc) if client’s pet should bite another person or animal. 
Go-To Pet Minding will not walk unruly or untrained dogs or dogs that choke themselves on their leash. All pets must be walked on a leash, no exceptions.

2) Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be received within 24 hours of scheduled visit in order to be credited for the daily walk fee. Go-To Pet Minding reserves the right to deny service or terminate service because of safety concerns, financial concerns, or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.

3) Business Hours:

Business hours fall between the hours of 7am and 6pm and services are usually completed during this time unless we are behind schedule.

4) Emergencies:

Client agrees to authorise Go-To Pet Minding to handle any emergencies that may arise. Go-To Pet Minding will make every effort to contact client. In the event client cannot be contacted, client authorises Go-To Pet Minding to use their best judgement and to be available at an hourly rate of $22 to oversee the circumstances.

5) Booking & Payment Arrangement:

Bookings need to be made early to avoid disappointment and no later than 7 days before commencement of service date. Full payment must be received two days prior to the booking. Only once full payment has been received by Go-To Pet Minding and a confirmation has been received by client, is the booking confirmed. In the event of an emergency, all vet fees/expenses for this unforeseen circumstance is expected to be compensated in full within one month of the completion of services or a late charge of $5 will be applied. All bookings that require travel outside of the local 25km radius is subject to a fee of 80c/km over 24km.
